Centerstone is seeking a therapist with experience treating individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. This is an opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team. No weekend or on call work required. The role involves developing therapeutic rapport with clients, conducting diagnostic assessments (including risk and substance use assessments), and providing concurrent documentation within 24 hours. The therapist will offer assessment services and individual (and possibly family) therapy, focusing on individuals with substance use issues. Key responsibilities include developing, writing, implementing, evaluating, and revising treatment plans based on ongoing assessment and client input. The position requires the use of empirically based modalities for mental health or substance abuse diagnoses, with progress notes completed according to agency guidelines. The therapist will also respond to supervisory requests for urgent care situations and coverage for vacant caseloads, including telephone and face-to-face interventions, and keep the administrative supervisor informed of potential issues impacting the program or organization.
