No weekend or on call work required. The role involves developing therapeutic rapport with clients, conducting diagnostic assessments (including risk and substance use assessments), and providing concurrent documentation within 24 hours. Responsibilities include providing assessment services and individual (and possibly family) therapy for those with substance use issues. The therapist will also be responsible for developing, writing, implementing, evaluating, and revising treatment plans based on ongoing assessment and client input. Therapeutic interventions will utilize empirically based modalities for mental health or substance abuse diagnoses, with progress notes completed according to agency guidelines.
