About The Position

Watershed Security, a Veteran Owned Small Business with over 20 years of Cybersecurity and Government Contracting experience, is seeking a hands-on Unix/Linux Systems Administrator to support NSWCDD. This role is located onsite in Dahlgren, VA.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Unix/Linux Systems Administration of networks and software systems.
Experience in system backup and recovery; basic software management; security management and library management.
Experience with installation and configuration of hardware; operational systems and COTS software; operating computer systems in different operating environments.
Experience with sizing, performance, tuning, hardware/software/network troubleshooting and resource allocation.
Must possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Work location: Onsite in Dahlgren, VA, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

Provide three (3) years of professional experience in UNIX and/or Linux System Administration of networks and software systems.
Perform system backup and recovery.
Manage basic software.
Manage security and libraries.
Install and configure hardware, operational systems, and COTS software.
Operate computer systems in different operating environments.
Perform sizing, performance tuning, hardware/software/network troubleshooting, and resource allocation.
Utilize different network protocols including TCP/IP and major network security tools.
This position is required to be designated as IAT II level with a Top Secret clearance.
