About The Position

This is a Short-Term Assignment (STA) for current L4 and L5 Area Managers (Manager I, Operations or Manager II, Operations) based in the United States and Canada. This STA will maintain current reporting lines and will not involve a job code change or internal transfer, nor will there be a change in compensation. The role is for a recruiter to assist in recruiting and engaging university talent for Amazon Operations. All short-term assignment recruiters (STARs) will join the University Ops Recruiting Team for 15 weeks and function as individual contributors. STARs will support candidate sourcing and engagement, collegiate information sessions and career fairs, interview event facilitation, and more. They will be expected to deliver against high-volume hiring goals and work quickly to meet business and stakeholder needs. STARs should be passionate about Hiring and Developing the Best new talent for the Ops network, eager to share their experiences with students and candidates, and comfortable navigating ambiguous work at a fast pace. Recruiting experience is not necessary as training will be provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year of tenure at Amazon
  • Current L4 or L5 Area Manager
  • Currently in Good Standing (cannot be on a Pivot/Focus Plan)
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be Area Manager at NACF/AMZL/NASC Site. Other site types will be considered with site lead approval.
  • 1+ years of full-time Amazon experience
