This role includes developing and sustaining partnerships with Public Children Services Agencies (PCSAs) and exploring new opportunities to meet workforce training needs. Recruits, trains, and supports UPP field instructors and consults with PCSAs to ensure agencies are prepared to host student placements and transition graduates into employment. The effectiveness of field placements is regularly evaluated to ensure quality training outcomes. Administers and coordinates student contracts with the Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY), including authorization of stipend payments for students who meet contractual obligations. Supports post-graduation job placement and participates in the State of Ohio UPP Management Team, contributing to statewide quality improvement initiatives. Serves as the faculty liaison for the students enrolled in a UPP field placement. Provides instruction and delivers the standardized child welfare curriculum aligned with the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program CORE Training 2.0. Courses include: SOWK 451/657: Child Welfare I & SOWK 472/658: Child Welfare II.
