Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months of cash handling or transaction-related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of financial services and standard business practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply regulatory, legal, and policy requirements.
  • Must pass required background check.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage members warmly, ensuring a professional and positive first impression.
  • Process a wide range of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cashier’s checks, and money orders.
  • Accurately balance cash drawer daily while maintaining strong attention to detail and compliance with policies.
  • Actively listen to member needs and recommend credit union products and services that improve their financial lives.
  • Support members with service requests such as stop payments, wire transfers, and address changes.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge to cross-sell and refer members to specialized staff when appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality, comply with all regulatory and policy requirements, and safeguard member information.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Participate in training and meetings to stay current on policies, products, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the team and organization.
  • Deliver on service commitments to both members and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.
