About The Position

The Universal Representative plays a key role in delivering comprehensive financial services to members, including processing transactions, assisting with loans, opening and maintaining accounts, and promoting credit union products. This role requires balancing service excellence with operational accuracy and sales performance. You will support members throughout their financial journey—whether completing transactions, explaining loan options, or resolving account questions—while ensuring all work is accurate, compliant, and aligned with credit union policies.

Requirements

  • Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver efficient, friendly, and solution-focused experiences across transactions, loans, and account services.
  • Maintain accuracy in transactions, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities, ensure follow-through, and represent MCCU professionally.
  • Identify opportunities to recommend beneficial products and services that meet member needs.
  • Support team success and collaborate across departments to provide consistent service.
  • Process transactions, assist with loans, open and maintain accounts, and promote credit union products.
  • Balance service excellence with operational accuracy and sales performance.

  • Represent the credit union professionally in member and community interactions.
