Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required
  • A minimum of two years bank customer contact or retail sales experience preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage clients effectively
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings, as per business needs
  • Willing and able to travel to other locations/branches
  • Willing and able to work required overtime

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and establish rapport that encourages further engagement
  • Assist team in achieving branch goals
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Remain flexible to accommodate branch staffing needs
  • Work independently and manage their time
  • Follow policies and procedures, maintain accuracy
  • Follow through on daily, weekly and monthly tasks
  • Contribute to branch meetings and culture
  • Promote products and services based on customer's needs, providing consultative advice to help them achieve their financial goals
  • Assist with account opening and account maintenance including completion of consumer loan applications and closings
  • Support and promote digital banking, including online and app-based solutions, setup, and troubleshooting
  • Assist customers with processing transactions, resolving complaints, and maintaining/balancing cash drawers
  • Handle in-bound and out-bound calls to build relationships, identify opportunities, make product recommendations, and solve problems
  • Refer customers to business partners to meet all their financial needs
  • Meet quarterly banker minimum standards, participate in sales, service, and product training meetings
  • Adhere to federal banking regulations including BSA, USA Patriot Act, AML, and Notary Public
  • Maintain awareness of and adherence to the Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, policies, and procedures
