About The Position

BayFirst National Bank is hiring a Universal Banker to serve clients at its Belleair and Countryside locations. The role centers on understanding clients’ needs, providing knowledgeable and personalized service, and building and maintaining client relationships. The Universal Banker must understand the bank’s products and services, communicate effectively, and meet client expectations for accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism. The position includes routine banking transactions, account opening and closing, cash balancing, and referrals or product recommendations suited to clients’ financial needs. The employee may be asked to cover other banking centers in the area and should be prepared for the hours needed to meet client service expectations, as well as marketing and community events.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented.
Positive retail mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.

Nice To Haves

Previous banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Regularly travel between and provide coverage at BayFirst’s Belleair and Countryside locations.
Become proficient in the bank’s products, programs, and services to provide effective customer service.
Understand clients’ financial needs and make appropriate product recommendations and referrals.
Meet or exceed individual goals while supporting banking center goals.
Perform routine customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, cashier’s checks, and debit card issuance.
Open and close checking, savings, CD, IRA, and safe deposit box accounts.
Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals.
Meet client expectations for accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism.
Participate in marketing and community events as needed.
