The Universal Banker position is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. This role delivers superior quality service by identifying and understanding client financial needs. The Universal Banker is cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. This role ensures a distinctive client experience by engaging clients courteously, conducting complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering client needs. They educate clients on digital self-service solutions and support the team's sales process through outbound calls and identifying client opportunities. Understanding IRM is crucial for seamlessly delivering Truist expertise and solutions. The Universal Banker participates in established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines and commits to advancing individual and product knowledge through training. They adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of all changes to ensure compliance. Additionally, they serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
