Universal Banker
About The Position
As a Universal Banker, you are on the frontline with our clients, taking pride in providing excellent customer service. This role differs from positions at larger banks, offering a deeper understanding of a community bank's operations and fostering close relationships with customers. You will assist clients with new and existing account inquiries and handle monetary (teller) transactions. A significant portion of Cornerstone Bank's client base consists of small business owners, and you will work directly with them to set up checking and savings accounts, process cash transactions, and troubleshoot online account and debit card issues. You will serve as the Bank's product and service expert, identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products and services to enhance their efficiency. Additionally, you will be cross-trained on wire transactions and other duties. The frontline team members are highly valued for their significant role in the Bank's success.
Requirements
- Strong passion for customer service
- Ability to provide 5-star service
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Retail banking experience, including ACH, wires, mobile deposits, and online banking
- Compliant with bank confidentiality standards and security procedures
- Cash handling and teller experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional demeanor/appearance
- Accuracy and attention to detail required
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Mathematical proficiency
- Computer savvy and a quick learner

Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with new and existing account inquiries
