About The Position

The Universal Banker is an entry-level position that assists with sales, products, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The role focuses on fostering customer relationships and loyalty while helping increase sales to individual consumer clients. The position is part-time for 20 hours. Mandarin speaking is preferred.

Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience.
Previous retail banking or similar experience required.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic account opening for existing customers.
Provide service to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues.
Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
Support branch sales and service activities by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives.
Follow operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to protect customer and bank assets.
Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, protect the firm's reputation and assets, comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies, exercise sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
