The Universal Banker position is a regular, full-time role on the 1st shift, requiring English fluency. This role focuses on providing timely and efficient client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of monies. The Universal Banker will deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding client financial needs. This position is cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. The Universal Banker will engage clients with a smile, facilitate courteous conversation, conduct complex and standardized transactions, and uncover client needs. They will also educate clients on digital, self-service solutions to enhance their banking experience. Additionally, the role involves supporting the team's sales process through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities by fulfilling them or referring clients to appropriate specialists. Understanding the importance of IRM is crucial for seamlessly delivering Truist expertise and solutions. The Universal Banker will participate in established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines and commit to advancing individual and product knowledge through various meetings and training. Adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies is essential, as is staying informed of policy changes. The role also serves as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
