About The Position

The Universal Banker PT (20hrs) position at the West Sadsbury Branch is a regular, full-time role requiring English fluency and a 1st shift work schedule. This role involves completing client transactions efficiently and accurately, providing superior client service by understanding their financial needs, and supporting sales and service activities, including outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM). The position also requires educating clients on digital banking solutions and participating in team sales processes and leadership routines. Continuous learning in product knowledge and adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies are essential. The Universal Banker also serves as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
  • Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included

Nice To Haves

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention
  • Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
  • General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, facilitating courteous conversation, conducting complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering needs.
  • Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
  • Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
  • Understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to ensure seamless delivery of expertise and solutions.
  • Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  • Commit to advancing individual and product knowledge by attending sales, service, and product knowledge meetings and applicable training.
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of all changes.
  • Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
