About The Position
Home State Bank is seeking a Universal Banker to join their McHenry County team. This role serves as a trusted resource for customers, delivering exceptional service and accurate transaction processing. The Universal Banker will assist clients in opening, closing, and maintaining accounts, provide advice and guidance, build strong customer relationships, identify customer needs, and refer appropriate banking products and services. The position also involves supporting branch operations, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations, and adhering to BSA and AML requirements. Responsibilities
- Processing commercial and consumer deposits and withdrawals
- Accepting loan payments and cashing checks within approved limits
- Balancing cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assisting clients in opening, closing and maintenance accounts
- Providing advice and guidance
- Building strong customer relationships through outstanding service
- Identifying customer needs and referring appropriate banking products and services
- Supporting branch operations and contributing to branch goals
- Ensuring compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulations
- Adhering to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements
- Reporting any suspected suspicious activity to the BSA Officer promptly
- Participating in required compliance and professional development training
