About The Position
As a Universal Banker at Mission Federal Credit Union, you will deliver exceptional service, build relationships with members, and provide financial solutions. The role combines member support, transaction processing, account and loan services, consultative sales, and branch operations. You will also share best practices with teammates and help contribute to a positive member experience and branch goals. This is an on-site position in San Diego, California, with compensation of $22.00–$25.00 per hour plus incentives. Actual compensation depends on experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.

Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist members professionally and enthusiastically.
- Process transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and wire transfers.
- Resolve member questions and provide personalized support.
- Educate members about digital banking tools and services.
- Open new accounts and assist members with financial products.
- Process and fund consumer loan applications.
- Discuss members’ needs and recommend beneficial financial solutions.
- Make follow-up calls to confirm member satisfaction and identify additional ways to help.
- Contribute to branch sales and service goals through consultative conversations and referrals.
- Balance cash drawers and assist with end-of-day branch balancing.
- Prepare account and loan documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of Mission Fed products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Protect member information and uphold security standards.
- Share best practices and mentor Tellers and USR I team members.
- Participate in branch meetings, sales initiatives, community events, and business development activities.
- Collaborate with teammates to provide an exceptional member experience.
