About The Position

The Universal Banker II position is a regular, full-time role requiring English language fluency and a 1st shift work schedule. This role focuses on providing timely and efficient client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper money handling. A key aspect of the position is delivering superior client service by identifying and understanding client financial needs. The Universal Banker II is cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a specific emphasis on assisting with outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. The position involves engaging clients, conducting transactions, educating them on digital solutions, supporting the team's sales process through outbound calls, understanding IRM, participating in leadership routines, and continuously advancing product knowledge. Adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies is crucial. The role also serves as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
  • Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included

Nice To Haves

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention
  • Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
  • General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities
