The Universal Associate I (Teller/New Accounts) role is responsible for providing timely and courteous customer service, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and exemplifying the bank's standard of exceptional customer service. This role involves assessing customer financial needs, suggesting appropriate bank services and products, and actively participating in the bank's sales culture and referral programs. Key responsibilities include maintaining daily transactions, balancing cash drawers, researching outages, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. This position also involves opening and maintaining deposit accounts for consumers and businesses, and completing necessary account maintenance. The role has four levels, with the Universal Associate I focusing on teller duties, cash handling, vault, and ATM responsibilities, as well as new account opening and maintenance.
