About The Position

The Universal Associate I (Teller/New Accounts) role focuses on providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, and identifying customer financial needs to suggest appropriate bank services and products. This role actively participates in the bank's sales culture and referral programs. Key responsibilities include managing daily transactions, balancing cash drawers, and adhering to banking regulations. This position involves opening and maintaining deposit accounts for consumers and businesses, as well as performing necessary account maintenance. The role averages approximately 38-40 hours per week and includes some Saturday morning work.

Requirements

Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
Ability to quickly learn position-related software.
Ability to effectively use general office equipment.
One year customer service and cash handling experience.
High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and courteous customer service.
Process customer transactions in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner.
Exemplify FCCB’s standard of delivering exceptional customer service every time.
Assess customer's financial needs and suggest Bank services and products.
Actively participate in and promote the Bank’s sales culture and referral programs.
Maintain daily transactions and balances, research outages, and balance the drawer in an accurate and timely manner.
Follow proper procedures and complete tasks in compliance with banking regulations.
Identify customer needs and develop solutions to exceed customer goals and expectations.
Constructively interact with co-workers.
Process transactions and handle cash, vault, ATM responsibilities.
Open and maintain deposit accounts for consumers and businesses.
Complete all necessary maintenance on customer accounts.
