About The Position

The Universal Associate I (Teller/New Accounts) role focuses on providing excellent customer service and processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently. This position involves assessing customer needs, suggesting appropriate bank products and services, and actively participating in sales and referral programs. The role requires maintaining daily transaction balances, researching discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. Additionally, this role involves opening and maintaining various types of deposit accounts for both consumers and businesses, as well as performing necessary account maintenance. The position averages approximately 38-40 hours per week and includes some Saturday work.

Requirements

• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
• Ability to quickly learn position-related software.
• Ability to effectively use general office equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.

Nice To Haves

• One year customer service and cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous customer service.
• Process customer transactions in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Exemplify FCCB’s standard of delivering exceptional customer service every time.
• Assess customer's financial needs and suggest Bank services and products.
• Actively participate in and promote the Bank’s sales culture and referral programs.
• Maintain daily transactions and balances, research outages, and balance the drawer in an accurate and timely manner.
• Follow proper procedures and complete tasks in compliance with banking regulations.
• Identify customer needs and develop solutions to exceed customer goals and expectations.
• Constructively interact with co-workers.
• Process transactions and handle cash, vault, ATM responsibilities.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts for consumers and businesses.
• Complete all necessary maintenance on customer accounts.
