About The Position

The Inova Healthplex in Ashburn is a free standing Emergency Department seeking a RN Unit Supervisor. This is a full-time night position, working 7 PM-7 AM with weekend rotation. This free-standing Emergency Unit is a division of Inova Loudoun Hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced ER Nurse to join a first-class, collaborative, and team-oriented group. Requirements

Requires at least one year of Registered Nurse Clinical experience.
Associate Degree RNs within one year of completing their BSN.
Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days.
BLS required.
Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention.
Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations.
Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization; can serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff on the unit.

Nice To Haves

Preferred candidate will have (1) plus years ED experience with Peds & Adult Patient population, with experience as charge or supervisory responsibilities.
Specialty certification specific unit within 1 year.
BSN or MSN preferred.
Strongly prefer current ACLS and PALS.
