About The Position

The Inova Healthplex in Ashburn is a free standing Emergency Department seeking a RN Unit Supervisor for Full Time Nights (7 PM-7 AM) with weekend rotation. This free standing Emergency Unit is a division of Inova Loudoun Hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced ER Nurse to join a first class, collaborative and team-oriented group. Requirements

• Requires at least one year of Registered Nurse Clinical experience.
• Associate Degree RNs within one year of completing their BSN.
• Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days.
• BLS required.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention.
• Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations.
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization; can serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff on the unit.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred candidate will have (1) plus years ED experience with Peds & Adult Patient population, with experience as charge or supervisory responsibilities.
• Specialty certification specific unit within 1 year.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Strongly prefer current ACLS and PALS.
