About The Position

The Heart Hospital in Arlington is seeking a skilled Unit Secretary for its fast-paced, high-volume Pre/Post Opp Unit. This PRN (as needed) position involves day shifts from 6a to 4:30p, offering great growth potential. The role focuses on performing all tasks to meet the needs of physicians, staff, patients, and other customers, demonstrating organizational skills, and communicating effectively with consideration for patient population specific needs. The unit offers self-scheduling for work-life balance and opportunities for educational and career growth, as well as the chance to utilize organizational skills and assist in streamlining team communication with patients and families. Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is a 47-bed facility with a 20-bed CVICU and a 27-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit, recognized for its high quality of patient care, accreditations, and awards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
• Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency, if applicable.
• Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Healthcare experience is preferred.
