About The Position

Unit Secretary Monitor Technician provides secretarial support for the nursing unit and assists nurses in monitoring cardiac rhythms of telemetry patients.

Requirements

• Mandatory requirements completed as required (initial and annual): Re-orientation, HIPAA, Health/TB screening, competencies, fit testing, etc.
• Current BLS upon hire.
• ABM/MAB/CPI within 60 days of hire, annual thereafter.
• Must have the ability to meet essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Possesses the physical abilities, including heavy lifting, and perceptive acuity, e.g., visual, hearing, to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year experience working in an Emergency Department.
