About The Position
Unit Secretary Monitor Technician provides secretarial support for the nursing unit and assists nurses in monitoring cardiac rhythms of telemetry patients.
Requirements
- Mandatory requirements completed as required (initial and annual): Re-orientation, HIPAA, Health/TB screening, competencies, fit testing, etc.
- Corporate Compliance - Maintains compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as other regulatory programs and hospital policies and procedures.
- Serious about obligations and actions. Takes ownership of tasks and completes assignments. Meets mandatory requirements.
- Current BLS upon hire.
- ABM/MAB/CPI within 60 days of hire, annual thereafter.
- Must have the ability to meet essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year experience working in an Emergency Department, preferred.
