About The Position

Teknor Apex is an international custom compounder with a nearly hundred-year history, operating nine U.S. locations and facilities in Belgium, Singapore, Germany, and China. As a privately held company, Teknor Apex maintains a tradition of fostering deep employee and customer relationships to deliver customized compound solutions. This role is a full-time, on-site position crucial for team-based batch manufacturing, requiring timely and regular attendance. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned.
• Ability to demonstrate operational decision as required, maintaining production levels.
• Ability to read and write.
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain established quality standards per production requirements.
• Maintain maximum line speeds and productivity of all machines assigned.
• Identify production issues and troubleshoot as appropriate.
• Complete all required production records accurately and completely.
• Maintain housekeeping and lean manufacturing standards.
• Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.
