About The Position
Rocky Mountain Care - The Lodge/Heber City is hiring a Unit Manager/Wound Care nurse (RN/LPN) who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of outward mindset for achieving 5-star excellence. This is a full-time position requiring 20 hours for Unit Manager duties and 20 hours for Wound Care/floor duties. The Certified Wound Nurse will be responsible for assessing skin, developing care plans, implementing orders and treatments, and evaluating the progress of specialized skin and wound conditions. This role involves evaluating new admissions, conducting weekly wound rounds, documenting status, ensuring physician and family notification of changes, and providing education to nursing staff. The Certified Wound Nurse will also identify wound types, analyze trends, and supervise nursing personnel related to wound care. Requirements
- RN/LPN License in UT
- Previous LTC experience is required
- Minimum two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric setting as an LPN.
- Minimum (1) year of experience in nursing management.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Must also meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications and have no disciplinary action in effect against professional license.
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university

- Oversee and coordinate the care of our residents
- Auditing patient charts for compliance

- Attending and preparing for compliance meetings
