Requirements
- Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) or Practical Nursing Diploma required.
- Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN Licensure in the state of practice required.
- One (1+) years nursing experience required
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing preferred.
- Valid State license.
- Adheres to and oversees communication of privacy guidelines relative to the confidentiality of residents' protected health information.
- Participates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of such information.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.
Nice To Haves
- prior Sub-Acute Care or Long-Term Care nursing experience preferred
- One to three years (1-3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and restoring health of resident patients
- Acting as a main point of contact between residents and their families
- Addressing and preventing concerns from family members
- Supervises nursing staff and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible.
