About The Position

Maefair Center for Health & Rehabilitation, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking an RN Unit Manager. As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit. Your role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of quality care, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of residents. This position is for an experienced nursing professional with a passion for leading others. Requirements

  • Valid state RN nursing license
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit
  • Ensure the delivery of quality care
  • Foster a positive work environment
  • Ensure the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care
  • Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Conduct regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to nursing staff
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident well-being
