Unit Manager - RN - RHCF - Days
About The Position
Rome Health is currently seeking an RN to fill an Unit Manager position. This person will ensure that high quality nursing care is delivered in an efficient and effective manner, in accordance with standards developed by the State Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, ANA Standards of Care and the philosophy, policies and procedures of the resident care activities, unit operation and staff function. Establishes goals and direction for the unit(s) and ensures that nursing goals and direction compliment the facilities mission statement. This is a day time position.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support required within 3 months of hire.
- Education and experience sufficient to meet Rome Memorial Hospital requirements for area of specialty.
- Current Registered Nurse License in New York State.
- Five years progressive nursing experience.
- Minimal of one year experience in Long Term Care.
Nice To Haves
- BS in related field preferred.
