Requirements

High School Diploma
Two (2) years' experience in youth development management.
Three (3) years of experience in youth development management
Must have a current valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety with a satisfactory driving record
Applicant must take and pass a pre-employment drug test administered by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV expense.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor Degree in Youth Development, Social services or related field preferred
May be requested to obtain a Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement within 3 months of employment.
Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

Assists Vice President of Operations in developing organizational goals, attaining and allocating resources, and establishing policies, rules and regulation.
Supervises volunteers, seasonal and part-time employees at all club sites as assigned.
Develop, manage and maintain a strong relationship with school administration (Principals, teachers, PTOs) to ensure ongoing partnerships between Club and School.
Implementing city wide special events, supervising, training and developing staff, marketing, general office administration duties, purchasing.
Assist in preparing yearly budget, periodic reports, work programs, grants, and participant recruitment.
Coordinating and assisting in golf programs and activities.
