Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Two (2) years' experience in youth development management.
  • Three (3) years of experience in youth development management
  • Must have a current valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety with a satisfactory driving record
  • Applicant must take and pass a pre-employment drug test administered by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV expense.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor Degree in Youth Development, Social services or related field preferred
  • May be requested to obtain a Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement within 3 months of employment.
  • Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists Vice President of Operations in developing organizational goals, attaining and allocating resources, and establishing policies, rules and regulation.
  • Supervises volunteers, seasonal and part-time employees at all club sites as assigned.
  • Develop, manage and maintain a strong relationship with school administration (Principals, teachers, PTOs) to ensure ongoing partnerships between Club and School.
  • Implementing city wide special events, supervising, training and developing staff, marketing, general office administration duties, purchasing.
  • Assist in preparing yearly budget, periodic reports, work programs, grants, and participant recruitment.
  • Coordinating and assisting in golf programs and activities.
