About The Position
This position is located at Samaritan Medical Center in the 01.6013 SMC 5 PRATT department. The pay range is $16.45 - $25.50. The work shift is a 12 Hours Day Shift, with position hours totaling 36 per week.
Requirements
- Accurate spelling required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Keyboarding and computer skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with all age groups.
- Must be able to keep calm under stress.
- High school level of knowledge necessary to read physicians' orders and transcribe them correctly.
Nice To Haves
- Secretarial/clerical courses preferred.
