About The Position
Evergreen is seeking a Unit Clerk to join the team in its Skilled Nursing Facility! This position is 40 hours a week Monday-Friday. No weekends or holidays required. Hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9:30am-6:00pm Monday and Wednesday.
Requirements
- Strong organization skills
- Experience with Medical Terminology
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, faxing and phone skills
- Willing to help where needed
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Responsibilities
- Be a resource to residents, families, and visitors
- Respect and maintain confidentiality
- Chart pertinent information in resident medical record
- Perform various clerical tasks for assigned unit
- Make resident appointments, schedule labs and follow up and check for lab reports
- Arrange for resident transportation
- Respond promptly to communications and follow through in a timely manner
- Scan, file and keep up medical record room
