More about our team Beckett Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in the Cincinnati-area township of West Chester, OH. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer caring, compassionate treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, as well as specialized programming for active duty military, veterans, first responders, and other high-risk frontline professionals. Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Help for Heroes®.

Requirements

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greets patients and visitors.
  • Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls.
  • Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
  • Enters nursing requests subject to the approval of a licensed nurse.
  • Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
  • Assembles and maintains patient records and charts.
  • Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, filing, and ordering/stocking supplies.
  • Assists RNs and physicians with other patient activities as needed.
  • Assists Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) when needed.
