About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Unit Clerk/Patient Care Assistant (UC/PCA) to join their MedSurg Department at the Ontario location. This role provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN. The UC/PCA will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide personal care and comfort, and help maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. Avita Health System serves communities in Crawford and Richland counties with three hospitals and numerous clinic locations, employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners. Requirements
- Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Current Certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or applicable work-related experience working as a nursing assistant.
- Previous experience working as a nursing assistant.
