About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a Unit Clerk/Patient Care Assistant (UC/PCA) for the MedSurg Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. The position provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN. It assists patients with activities of daily living and provides personal care and comfort, while helping maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. The posted schedule is 1830–0700, for 48 hours per pay period.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of the hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Current State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification or applicable work-related experience as a nursing assistant.
- Previous experience working as a nursing assistant.
