About The Position

Supports unit operations by managing communications, coordinating patient flow, maintaining records, and assisting with patient education. Serves as a resource for hospital systems and devices, ensures business continuity readiness, and monitors unit cleanliness and safety. Promotes excellent customer service and compliance with regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Answers phones promptly and politely while directing customers appropriately and efficiently.
Acts as liaison between Nursing, Bed Management, Patient Access, Environmental Services and Transport to ensure appropriate patient placement and flow.
Maintains patient records and facilitates patient education.
Resource for hospital information systems and devices.
Ensures competency with BCA procedures.
Monitors unit/floor environment for cleanliness, safety and patient/staff comfort. Keeps work station organized and uncluttered.
Maintains unit associate Competency/Furthers Self Development.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
