Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting or as a Health Unit Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care operations: Coordinate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to manage appointments, navigate order entry processes, and facilitate smooth patient transitions.
• Maintain accurate patient charts: Assemble and manage clinical records to ensure documentation is timely, complete, and readily accessible for the care team.
• Optimize daily workflow: Manage schedules, coordinate room bookings, and handle essential communication to ensure clinical activities run efficiently.
• Provide administrative support: Serve as the primary point of contact for the clinical area by screening calls, greeting visitors, and handling daily correspondence.
• Ensure scheduling precision: Maintain timekeeping changes and staff schedules in the system to support operational accuracy.
