About The Position

The Union Benefits Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and coordinating union payments and communications. This position requires independent work in running and translating payroll reports, making payments, and conducting investigative work with payroll data. The coordinator will use SAP to ensure accurate and timely payment processes, while maintaining effective communication with unions and fund administrators.

Requirements

Experience in payroll and payroll processing.
Proficiency in Excel and data entry.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving and research capabilities.
Strong communication skills.

Ability to analyze and reconcile data accurately.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
French speaking is a plus for working with Canadian groups.
Experience with SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Remit union payments and reconcile general ledger accounts for US and Canadian union benefit payments.
Research and process trust fund discrepancy correspondence promptly.
Reconcile union benefit general ledger accounts and maintain accurate records.
Manage assigned cases in Service Now and provide excellent customer service to all departments.
Collaborate with co-workers and various departments to promote continuous improvement.
Ensure reliable and consistent attendance.
Support and participate in collaboration activities to implement process improvements.
Perform other job-related tasks as needed or assigned.
