Union Automotive Service Technician
About The Position
Liberty Ford in Aurora, Ohio, is hiring union automotive service technicians at entry-level through experienced and master technician levels. The dealership offers hands-on training and mentorship for candidates who are new to the field, opportunities to take on more complex repairs as skills develop, and access to Ford tools and technology for experienced technicians. Technicians work in a collaborative team environment and may mentor junior technicians. Compensation is $26.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications. The position is full-time, with a five-day work week and no travel.
Requirements
- ASE certification(s) are listed as the education level.
- Motivation and willingness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Complete multi-point inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicles using Ford factory tools.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and drivability repairs.
- Document work in accordance with dealership and Ford standards.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Mentor junior technicians, where applicable.
