About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to play a direct part in a large-scale unified communications transformation, helping transition a global organization from legacy voice systems to the cloud-based platform Microsoft Teams Phone. The position provides a strong blend of hands-on engineering and strategic ownership, allowing the individual to influence how communication services are delivered and supported across the enterprise.

Requirements

Microsoft Teams Phone administration
Experience with cloud UC platforms (Teams / Zoom)
Experience with legacy telephony (Avaya CM / IP Office, T1, PRI, SIP, POTS)
Strong UC troubleshooting and escalation support experience
Ability to lead projects and support migration efforts
Strong written and verbal communication
Detail-oriented approach to documentation and execution
Ability to collaborate across teams and vendors
Ability to support both technical teams and business stakeholders

Responsibilities

Support and lead the migration from legacy voice systems to cloud-based UC platforms
Provide senior-level support and escalation handling for UC environments
Design, implement, and maintain voice, chat, video conferencing, and mobility services
Act as a technical lead across UC services, including documentation, standards, and lifecycle management
Partner with vendors (Aspire) and internal teams to execute UC initiatives
Support mobile device management and cellular service programs
Provide training and guidance to junior support staff
