Requirements

• Successful completion of the Unemployment Compensation Tax Technician Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Two years of experience in maintaining financial records, bookkeeping, tax preparation, or clerical accounting
• An equivalent combination of experience and training
• Meet the PA residency requirement
• Be able to perform essential job functions
• Pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment (including fingerprint-based federal records check, PA State Police clearance, check of local law enforcement agencies, and citizenship/residency verification)

Responsibilities

• Process registration documents and update employer records with accuracy
• Examine record matches to identify duplicates or related entities and apply proper updates
• Carry out compliance tasks related to UC Law and communicate with employers as needed
• Apply changes to account details such as addresses, ownership, and activation status
• Prepare production reports documenting completed actions
• Investigate data failures and complete corrective actions including customer contact
