Analyze new business and change applications according to criteria established from the Underwriting Rules & Guidelines to assist Underwriting with the acceptance, modification or declination of coverage. Obtain information from various sources and evaluate policy account, when required, to ensure accurate data for insurance coverage. Accept, cancel or reject applications and/or refer policies to Underwriting for review, as necessary. Make sound decisions related to policy coverage and policy terminations. Communicate effectively and professionally with internal personnel, agency force, members, and/or other interested parties in both verbal and written form. Organize and prioritize duties, paying close attention to detail, while meeting established timeframes. Code and/or enter data accurately into various GFB systems for multiple lines of business. Review and/or enter data accurately into pertinent application software.
