About The Position

This is a senior leadership role within CFC US’s underwriting management team, with responsibility for leading and growing our US Corporate Professions portfolio across the East Coast. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering underwriting strategy, driving profitable growth and building high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-growing business. As the regional lead, you’ll have accountability across the full underwriting lifecycle. From new business and renewals through to pricing, risk selection and coverage, while acting as a senior escalation point and trusted leader for underwriters in the region. In this role, you’ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. You’ll work closely with the Head of US Corporate Professions and global underwriting leadership to help set portfolio direction, support the P&L process and contribute to annual planning. Using data and insight, you’ll monitor performance against budgets, KPIs and service levels, stepping in early where performance needs attention. Externally, you’ll represent CFC with brokers and capacity partners, helping to strengthen existing relationships and develop new ones. You’ll support binder renewals, contribute to product development and play an active role in positioning CFC as a leading provider within US Corporate Professions. People leadership is central to this role. You’ll coach and develop underwriters and leaders, embed strong underwriting discipline and create a culture of ownership, performance and continuous learning – all while living and promoting CFC’s values.
