About The Position

For more than 90 years, The Church Insurance Companies (CIC) has focused on providing The Episcopal Church with broad, cost-effective property and casualty coverage, as well as unique risk management strategies and tools. This team takes a disciplined, financially sustainable, and hands-on approach. This is a college summer hire position estimated for two months, covering June and July. The role involves supporting the Underwriting Team to complete updated property valuations for all policyholders. The Summer Hire will sequence upcoming monthly renewals, take property valuation numbers, and record them on an Excel spreadsheet for the underwriting team's use in underwriting and pricing upcoming renewals. This work is crucial for ensuring churches and church properties are properly valued and covered under appropriate policies.

Requirements

• Heavy Data Entry
• Must be comfortable using Excel
• Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Support the Underwriting Team to complete updated property valuations for all policyholders.
• Sequence upcoming monthly renewals.
• Record property valuation numbers on an Excel spreadsheet for underwriting and pricing of upcoming renewals.
• Ensure churches and church properties are properly valued and covered under appropriate policies.
