This is a full-time, in-office position in our Charlotte office, with potential for a hybrid schedule after training.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and responding to loss run requests
  • Setting up files, including third party vendor runs and imported submissions
  • Importing submissions for schedules, blankets, and single locations
  • Maintaining and utilizing the submission tracker
  • Developing a strong understanding of the submission workflow
  • Processing and understanding manual-input submissions into proprietary systems
  • Applying approved rates to schedules, blankets, and single locations
  • Generating required underwriting documentation
  • Binding new business and renewal policies, including: Single locations, Schedules, Blankets
  • Managing non-monetary endorsements and understanding applicable forms and form logic
  • Conducting routine payment follow-ups
  • Understanding when and how to issue a 10-day Notice of Intent to Cancel (NOITC)
  • Preparing and managing carrier submissions, including open-market opportunities
  • Managing more complex policy endorsements, including: Mid-term location additions and removals, Policy cancellations, Renewals
  • Supporting the renewal process from initial rating through renewal submission setup
  • Building greater ownership of renewal accounts and workflows
