As an Underwriting Assistant on our Operations team, you won’t just be filing paperwork or sitting on the sidelines. You will take complete ownership of the administrative velocity and transactional accuracy that enables our underwriting team to evaluate cyber and tech E&O applications at scale. This is a foundational, high-visibility role where you will learn directly from seasoned leaders across Underwriting, Claims, Marketing & Distribution, Finance, Legal, and our internal Security Operations team, serving as a critical operational pillar of our regional growth. In your first six months, you will take full accountability for processing and reviewing incoming insurance applications, ensuring every file is complete, accurate, and ready for deep underwriting evaluation on both new business and renewals. You will own the front-line communication loop, responding promptly to inquiries from brokers, clients, and internal team members while building strong broker relationships that drive smooth, frictionless transactions. Beyond basic file management, you will prepare and issue policies and endorsements, maintain strict file compliance throughout the policy lifecycle, collaborate cross-functionally with Claims, Security Sales, Security Engagement, and PAS teams to optimize portfolio management, and tackle key operational projects as our platform scales.

A proven ability to multi-task, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
A genuine passion or curiosity for cybersecurity, technology, and cyber risk. (This role is tailored for ambitious recent graduates and early-career professionals).
Prior customer service, support, or administrative experience in a fast-growing environment.
Familiarity with modern productivity tools (G-Suite, Salesforce) or basic insurance operations concepts.

Responsibilities

Processing and reviewing incoming insurance applications, ensuring every file is complete, accurate, and ready for deep underwriting evaluation on both new business and renewals.
Owning the front-line communication loop, responding promptly to inquiries from brokers, clients, and internal team members.
Building strong broker relationships that drive smooth, frictionless transactions.
Preparing and issuing policies and endorsements.
Maintaining strict file compliance throughout the policy lifecycle.
Collaborating cross-functionally with Claims, Security Sales, Security Engagement, and PAS teams to optimize portfolio management.
