About The Position

This role will be part of our Underwriting Innovation team which is responsible for leading innovative projects and initiatives that will help to improve client experience while recognizing and managing appropriate risk tolerance. The work term is from September 8 to December 18, 2026.

Requirements

• Available to students with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Actuarial science or Mathematics.
• Strong technical and data analytics skills.
• Understanding of applications such as Excel and other statistical applications.
• Results oriented with ability to deliver results.
• Communication skills.
• Independent worker and collaborative team player.
• Resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing data from rules engines and accelerated underwriting programs.
• Creating and developing reports based on findings.
• Working alongside peers and management to offer suggestions and areas for improvement.
• Building relationships with internal partners such as Operations, Data Scientists, and Pricing to help drive results.
