About The Position

Assists with daily underwriting and provides production underwriters with information necessary to make sound underwriting decisions. Supports production underwriters through established standards and priorities responsive to marketing, underwriting, retention, and service goals. Ensures related support activities are delivered consistently with the business unit’s customer service focus. Conducts business and customer due diligence, helps achieve team production and loss ratio goals, and fosters effective relationships with agents and insureds. Researches best practices for new programs, forms, and manuals. May perform other job-related tasks as assigned or required. The listed duties are a representative summary and are not exhaustive.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with management, employees, and outside contacts.
• Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
