Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual insurance applications for property and casualty coverage, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
• Evaluate risks by analyzing factors such as property value, location, usage, and safety features, making informed decisions to accept, modify, or decline risks.
• Communicate frequently with field representatives to gather critical information and defend underwriting decisions.
• Support senior underwriters in servicing and managing accounts.
